Really sad news. Have always found time to play an Eagles album over the years and finally got to see them at the 02 in 2014
We are only into the third week of Jamuary and we have lost Bowie, Frey and the drummer from Mott the Hoople!

Speaking as a mostly heavy rock enthusiast, The Eagles were one of the best bands I ever saw live.
No 'show' as such, they just strolled on, plugged in and played the songs. And what songs they had.

Don Henley was the biggest shaft in The Eagles. And Joe Walsh is somehow still alive!
Sad news. Great singer and songwriter. Though mighteously "uncool", Eagles were a GREAT band.
Music's Grim Reaper needs to take a holiday, FFS.
